Padstow is a popular fishing village on the dramatic north coast of Cornwall. Famous for being the home of the chef Rick Stein, you can eat at a number of different restaurants and pubs or enjoy fish and chips by the sea.
There are a variety of coastal walks from Padstow and the Camel Trail can be accessed from the town along the camel estuary to Wadebridge.
You can also find several beautiful sandy beaches within a short drive of Padstow. If you prefer to spend the day looking around the shops, the village has a variety of high street names and smaller independent shops selling locally produced food, drink and other goods.
