Celebrate the end of the Coronavirus lockdown with a staycation right here in sunny Cornwall!
We all appreciate how difficult lockdown has been. Whilst we still can’t go away on holiday just yet…or stay away from home…life is beginning to return to normal. Summer holidays in sunny Cornwall are now in sight.
With that in mind there are still lots of holidays to book and lots of accommodation available from April right through to the end of the year, including Halula Beach House in Newquay. There’s never been a better time to book than now!
Take a closer look at this fantastic property and everything it has to offer…
Located just minutes from the beach, days are spent surfing the Atlantic swell or soaking up the sun on Fistral’s golden stretch before heading back home to where the kids can splash about in the heated swimming pool and the grown-ups can chill out in the bubbling hot tub.
Reminiscent of a 1950’s Californian beach shack, Halula’s fantastic outdoor space has wetsuit hooks and a warm shower as well as plenty of comfy seating to kick back on, with the quintessential barbecue and drinks fridge rounding off the perfect space for entertaining in.
Halula Beach House can sleep up to 24 in its 10 bedrooms and has been designed with families in mind…there’s an element of fun infused into every detail of the home; from the names of the bedrooms (that include the Flip Flop and Campervan) to the vibrant array of outdoor bean bags and an eclectically cool mix of furnishings.
We know that there are restrictions in place just now but there is a light at the end of the tunnel with lockdown due to end soon. We’ll cover these in some detail below to refresh your memory…
All the accommodation providers we deal with have measures in place to give you peace of mind should the lockdown, stay so there’s no need to worry.
Boris Johnson and the government have set out their roadmap for the end of the lockdown restrictions. Below are the main points you need to look at when booking a luxury holiday or break in Cornwall and what they mean for you.
Step 2 – April 12th
Self-contained accommodation, such as holiday lets, where indoor facilities are not shared with other households, can reopen.
This means that you can book your holiday accommodation in Cornwall as long as it’s only for your family. Our luxury accommodation in Cornwall always has its own facilities which are not shared with anyone else. We have many types of accommodation available with gardens, hot tubs, and even swimming pools to keep you entertained and safe from mixing. Many are also close to beaches or other outdoor locations where you can feel both safe and stay legal.
Step Three – May 17
The two households and rule of six requirements for outdoor gatherings will be removed but mixing indoors will be capped at the rule of six or two households. Booking holiday accommodation with friends and family may become possible at this point but at the moment it’s likely to be for small groups only.
Step 4 – 21 June
It is hoped that from the 21st June all legal limits on social contact can be removed meaning that you’ll be able to go on holiday again with as many of your family and friends as you like.
With lots of properties available that cater for large groups, at this point you’re likely to be able to holiday with 2, 3, or even more families or larger groups.
