We know that there are restrictions in place just now but there is a light at the end of the tunnel with lockdown due to end soon. We’ll cover these in some detail below to refresh your memory…

All the accommodation providers we deal with have measures in place to give you peace of mind should the lockdown, stay so there’s no need to worry.

Boris Johnson and the government have set out their roadmap for the end of the lockdown restrictions. Below are the main points you need to look at when booking a luxury holiday or break in Cornwall and what they mean for you.

Step 2 – April 12th

Self-contained accommodation, such as holiday lets, where indoor facilities are not shared with other households, can reopen.

This means that you can book your holiday accommodation in Cornwall as long as it’s only for your family. Our luxury accommodation in Cornwall always has its own facilities which are not shared with anyone else. We have many types of accommodation available with gardens, hot tubs, and even swimming pools to keep you entertained and safe from mixing. Many are also close to beaches or other outdoor locations where you can feel both safe and stay legal.

Step Three – May 17

The two households and rule of six requirements for outdoor gatherings will be removed but mixing indoors will be capped at the rule of six or two households. Booking holiday accommodation with friends and family may become possible at this point but at the moment it’s likely to be for small groups only.

Step 4 – 21 June

It is hoped that from the 21st June all legal limits on social contact can be removed meaning that you’ll be able to go on holiday again with as many of your family and friends as you like.

With lots of properties available that cater for large groups, at this point you’re likely to be able to holiday with 2, 3, or even more families or larger groups.
