Looe is a popular seaside resort and working fishing port on the south coast of Cornwall that was originally two towns called East and West Looe. East Looe includes the harbour, sandy beach and pleasant shopping centre whilst West Looe is quieter and has a rocky beach which is perfect for rock pooling.

The town is a popular destination for visitors all year round. The coastal footpath is easily accessible for walkers wanting to explore the surrounding coves, villages and headlands. Meanwhile, the town’s beach offers families a safe place to have fun in the sun and the dock is often lined with children trying to catch crabs on a line.

At the end of a busy day there’s nothing better than having a bite to eat so why not enjoy a meal at one of fantastic restaurants, pubs or fish and chip shops that offer a variety of meals including some of the locally caught fish.
