Vault Beach

Vault Beach

Vault Beach is a lovely hidden beach that lies near to Gorran Haven on the south coast of Cornwall.

The beach is long, sheltered from the elements, and is made of shingle and sand. It is hidden because at high tide the sea covers the beach and is only revealed at low tide. The beach is good for swimming as the calm seas make it relatively safe. At the far end of the beach, there is a well known nudist area which means it can become fairly busy during the summer months.

Furthermore, the nearby South West Coastal Path runs straight past the beach and provides some lovely walks round to nearby Gorran Haven and Porthluney.
