Lizard Point is located on the Lizard peninsula in Cornwall which is the most southerly point in mainland Great Britain.
The Lizard is famous for its rugged coastline and spectacular views making it a must see for anyone visiting Cornwall. One of the best ways to see the sights is by foot with many visitors taking the opportunity to walk along the coastal footpaths.
There are also many picturesque coves and beaches along the peninsula. Some of the more popular include Mullion, Cadgwith, Coverack, Poldhu and Kynance. Whilst visiting the Lizard don’t forget to head to the heritage centre which is located in the Lizard Lighthouse, inside you’ll find a variety of artefacts, information and interactive displays.
